Esomac 40mg Tablet contains esomeprazole which is a proton pump inhibitor that works by reducing the stomach acid secretion.It is used to treat dyspepsia or indigestion, peptic ulcer disease, gastro-esophangeal reflux disease(G.E.R.D) and Zollinger Ellison syndrom disease.

• You should take Esomac 40 Tablet as your doctor advises. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for, but it is usually the lowest dose for the shortest time that is needed to treat your condition.
• It is usually taken on an empty stomach. Keep taking it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear quickly.
• If you are taking this medicine for a long time, your doctor may carry out regular tests to check your levels of magnesium which can fall with this medicine.
