Each vial contains 1000 units insulin lispro in 10 ml solution. For the treatment of adults and children with diabetes  who require insulin for the maintenance of normal glucose. The drugs also helps  the initial stabilization of diabetes.

Both Humalog KwikPen and Humalog vial are suspensions that come in these forms: Vial for use with insulin syringes. Each vial contains 10 mL of Humalog Mix. Disposable, prefilled injection pen called Humalog Mix KwikPen.

You can inject your dose of Humalog under the skin of your stomach area, back of upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject Humalog into a muscle or vein. Work with your doctor to determine what the most appropriate injection sites are for you
